Criteria CaixaCorp: SharePoint in Finance
The problem
Our client, Criteria CaixaCorp, is a global investment group headquartered in Spain. Criteria needed a versatile solution to simplify internal communication and to satisfy their complex document management needs.
Our solution
Collaborating with Microsoft Consulting, Raona delivered a document management intranet solution based on
SharePoint Server 2007 and migrated Criteria CaixaCorp from a legacy Documentum system. Collaboration has improved greatly and the new document library now holds over 12 document types with 60 columns.
The project consisted of the following phases:
- Analysis
- Gathering requirements and designing the intranet.
- Development
Maximising SharePoint’s Out-of-the-Box functionality and customising the solution using Raona Web Parts and workflows.
- Migration
Transferring existing documents and their metadata.
- Support
Supporting and training Criteria’s IT Team to meet maintenance needs.
